RESPONSIBILITY REPORT

It's important for us to share this information with you, as you are the most important part of Kintobe's journey towards a future that's kinder to Earth and kinder to people. 

GOALS IN 2025 AND HOW WE WORKED WITH THEM

REPAIR PLATFORM

Our goal for 2025 was to successfully complete the CØ78 collaboration project, which we started in 2024. The work is still ongoing.

Throughout the year, we focused on understanding where the most common product damages occur and how they can be repaired in the most practical and consistent way.

One of the main challenges is repairing zippers, as this currently involves high costs. We are working to find a solution that is both practical to implement and financially sustainable.

Despite the complexity of the repair challenge, we believe it is important to solve. We will continue exploring solutions through this project as well as independently.

We remain open to developing our own ways of making repairs more accessible and viable for all of our customers over time.

END OF LIFE

We continued our collaboration with Semper Cycle, where our non-repairable bags are converted into synthesis gas, which can be used for new plastic production. We visited their facility in Risø, where we gained a deeper understanding of the process and agreed to continue the collaboration.

We also collaborated with Agnethe Henriksen for the Louisiana Museum, where non-repairable bags were transformed into limited edition bag designs by weaving together old webbings.

We explored producing bucket hats from our non-repairable bags, but at the end the setup was not financially sustainable, so we have stopped this initiative.

In addition, we gifted deadstock fabric to a partner factory in Vietnam to avoid disposing of fully functional materials. They will use it for small productions of other brands.

ORGANIZATION OF SUPPLY CHAIN DATA

In 2025, we continued mapping our supply chain and prepared to deepen this work with the new supplier module in our PLM system, Delogue. The release of this module has been delayed to 2026.

We are curious to see how this can be integrated into our PLM system and what opportunities it may bring.

Once the module becomes available, we will evaluate whether this is the right approach for us moving forward.

KINDNESS CLUB

In 2025, we hosted 7 Kindness Club events focused on building positive energy and connection.

Together with our community, we created kindness promises, customized keychains, practiced yoga and meditation, and shared a saunagus experience.

We also released our first Kindness Journal, which includes reflections and exercises designed to strengthen connection and kindness.

The response from our community has confirmed that this is something we want to continue developing.
